Uniswap is the AMM that defined DeFi. On Base it covers all the same pairs you would find on mainnet, with V3 concentrated liquidity and the newer V4 with hooks.
V3 vs V4
V3 introduced concentrated liquidity (LPs pick a price range). V4 adds "hooks" — custom logic that runs on swaps, deposits, and withdrawals. Hooks unlock things like onchain limit orders, MEV-aware AMMs, and dynamic fees.
